Haydock Renews Support for Mountain Bike Racer Ian Forsyth
Haydock Finance is proud to announce the continuation of its support for Ian Forsyth, a professional 4 Cross Mountain Bike (MTB) racer, as part of its 2025 employee charity scheme. This scheme allows employees to nominate a charity or cause close to their heart, enabling Haydock to contribute directly to initiatives that matter to its people. Ian was nominated by a Haydock employee and will continue to receive vital backing throughout the 2025 season.
This year, Haydock’s support will play a key role in helping Ian travel to international races, furthering his ambition to make an impact on the European 4X scene. So far in the 2025 British 4X Championships, Ian has had an impressive start—securing 3rd place in the first round and taking 1st place in the second. With continued support, he remains firmly focused on clinching the national title and making a name for himself globally.
Ian, who hails from Great Harwood, has become a well-respected name in the mountain biking community, both locally and across the UK. His determination, discipline, and sporting achievements reflect the values celebrated by Haydock Finance through its charity initiatives.
“I’m incredibly grateful to Haydock Finance for their ongoing support,” said Ian. “Their help makes a real difference—particularly when it comes to getting to international races. I feel lucky to have them behind me as I chase my goals this season.”
Lea Lawrence, Marketing Manager at Haydock Finance, commented: “We're delighted to continue to support Ian through our employee charity scheme which is all about empowering our people to aid individuals, initiatives and charities in realising their ambitions. It’s a privilege to help Ian reach new heights on the international stage.”
