Haydock Drives Competency-Based Accreditation to Support Service Excellence

Haydock Finance has announced that 7 members of their New Business Team have been presented with an accreditation award to recognise their achievements. These individuals have spent Q1 learning about new processes and strengthening their knowledge under a project called Proof of Concept 1 (POC1). This project stemmed from Haydock’s highly interactive ‘Kaizan’ workshops which are based on a continuous improvement approach, aimed at improving efficiency through individual experiences and identifying potential opportunities.  Towards the end of 2024, we began developing solutions identified through these workshops, with the aim of implementing a series of targeted initiatives throughout the first half of 2025. The objective of the POC activity was to evaluate Haydock’s end to end process and work together to develop enhancements that would create a smoother customer journey.

Kaizan workshops are powerful as process improvements are identified and developed by the people who do the job every day. Projects, such as POC1, are designed to bring direct benefits to our customers by improving turnaround times, consistency and the overall service experience.”  

 Lauren Whittle, New Business Managers, adds, “I am very proud of the team’s effort in this project. They have all worked together brilliantly and shown such willingness to strive for a better customer journey for all our introducers. This is a great example of collaborative working across the business to improve service delivery.”
