Last week, Haydock hosted the first of their training seminars at their recently refurbished offices in Blackburn. The seminars are tailored to provide brokers with key information about the newly introduced Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SM&CR) and the Government supported Enterprise Finance Guarantee (EFG) scheme.

The Compliance Company’s Jourdain Tambo guided attendees through the key elements of SM&CR planning and implementation in a comprehensive and engaging presentation. Brokers were then provided with a wealth of information from the British Business Bank’s Paul Wain on how the EFG scheme can help their customers access the capital they need to grow.

Alongside the training modules, attendees were also introduced to each of Haydock’s departments and provided with insight into their processes, values and plans.

Attendee Tony Roberts, from Trec Associates, commented, “The semi informal/formal setting was refreshingly different while meeting the team was invaluable and a nice personal touch for future business.”

Andy Taylor, Sales Director, commented, “We have organised these training seminars to be highly informative and provide our brokers with best practice advice and guidance which can be readily implemented. It is also a great opportunity for brokers to meet the people behind Haydock and discover their vision and expertise. We are delighted with the feedback from our first training seminar and look forward to hosting many more in the future”.
