Haydock Sponsored Motorcycle Racer Celebrates Victory
Harley Rushton, a 28-year-old professional motorcycle racer who is currently being sponsored by Haydock Finance, recently won the prestigious 2 Wheeling Classic Junior Manx Grand Prix on his very first attempt.
The motorcycle racer has received support via Haydock’s employee charity scheme. This initiative enables employees to assist a charity, organisation or an individual’s campaign.
Harley is well-known within the motorcycling community both locally and nationally. He has achieved significant success winning six Classic Championships and four other National Classic Championships, with podium finishes in a number of other national races. Harley’s relentless pursuit of excellence and his dedication make him a perfect representative of Haydock’s charity scheme.
Harley said, "I am so grateful to Haydock Finance for their generous support through the charity scheme. I am delighted to have joined a small prestigious group of riders who have won at the Manx Grand Prix races, an event over a century old. To add to this I have joined an even smaller group of competitors who have won at their first attempt as newcomers.”
Lea Lawrence, Marketing Manager, adds, “It has been fantastic to support Harley and see him achieve this incredible result which has been his childhood dream. It is also great that to see how our employee charity scheme can provide a little extra help to talented individuals like Harley. We think he has a tremendous motorcycling career ahead.”
