Haydock Finance supported Ball Raises over £10,000 for The Wish Centre

Haydock Finance, specialists in supportive business finance, partnered with The Wish Centre as a headline sponsor for the for the ‘Wish Upon a Star’ fundraising ball held at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel which raised over £10,000 for the charity. 

The glittering event was attended by a number of notable of guests - Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen – Councillor Parwaiz Akhtar together with Mayoress Shagufta Akhta and Deputy Police & Crime Commissioner for Lancashire, Andy Pratt - who enjoyed a champagne reception, 3 course dinner and entertainment.  Guest enjoyed the fabulous evening whilst raising much needed funds The Wish Centre, based in Blackburn, which helps and advises victims of Domestic Abuse.

The funds raised at the Ball will play a vital role in providing support to over 3800 people each year, many of whom are often in a crisis, with no one else to turn to. The Wish Centre has two refuge houses that provide a safe environment for women and children until they are able to move into their own homes. 
 
Local business finance specialist, Haydock Finance, has been fundraising for The Wish Centre for over 10 years.

It was inspiring to hear about how the charity have made such a huge difference to the lives of families across the UK and providing a positive future."
