Haydock Appoints New Materials Handling Team
Haydock Finance have welcomed two new material handling asset finance specialists. Tim Edwards has been appointed as Head of Materials Handling and has been joined by Lee Hughes who will take the position of Vendor Manager. The appointments are part of Haydock’s strategy to support intermediary partners who serve SMEs in more distinct sectors.
Tim Edwards joins Haydock from Societe Generale Equipment Finance (SGEF), where he was Head of the Broker team. Prior to that role, Tim gained extensive experience in the materials handling market with De Lage Landen and BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions, working alongside manufacturers and dealers.
Tim comments, “I am delighted to join the Haydock team as we look to become a specialist funding partner in the materials handling sector. Haydock have ambitious growth plans and this is an exciting opportunity to support SME’s in this key market place. We are committed to providing leading customer service to our introducers and their clients. Lee and I are looking forward to getting started.”
With 6 years’ asset finance experience, Lee Hughes joins Haydock from Lloyds Bank and previously worked at the Bank of Ireland. His roles have been focused on increasing market share via business development activities, covering both direct sales and intermediary partners.
Lee adds, “I am looking forward to developing and expanding this new specialist channel. I sold forklift trucks in my early career so to be part of building a material handling offering with Haydock is exciting. Their speed, agility and progressive outlook will really help us to deliver an unrivalled service.”
